INTRODUCTION TO
MASSAGE

Enjoy learning a new skill in an informal and friendly environment.

We will discover how Massage can affect the body and mind. On this practical day you will learn techniques for the back, neck and shoulders, finishing with an energising  foot massage and a relaxing head and face massage. This is a wonderful introduction to massage particularly if you are thinking about a new direction , career or just time out with a friend or partner.

Oils and refreshments will be provided on the day.

Please bring 2 large towels and lunch if required. There are local shops nearby.

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

This one day taster day in Indian Head Massage is the  perfect way to relax and enjoy learning a new skill.

You will learn a routine to cover the Upper back, Neck, Scalp and Head and Face. 

Oils can be used or you can receive a treatment fully clothed. This accessible massage is simply offered to a partner seated in a chair. 

On completion of the taster day, you may also be interested in our Accredited VTCT Level 3 Certificate Course.

REFLEXOLOGY

This one day workshop will offer you a wonderful introduction to the world of Reflexology.

After discussing the History of Reflexology along with its’ Physical and Mental benefits you will discover and practice some of the  specific reflexology techniques used by Professionals and learn a soothing foot massage. The techniques covered will be safe to use on your friends and family.

INTRODUCTION TO
AROMATHERAPY

Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils for from plants to promote health and well-being.

This wonderful complementary therapy therapy has been used for thousands of years and is designed to treat the whole body's natural ability to heal, rest, and recover from stress and illness.

Aromatherapy typically works through the sense of smell and through skin absorption.

We will discover the beauty and benefits of Aromatherapy and look at 6 essential oils and 3 carrier oils in detail. We will look at how essential oils can be used within the home and how to dilute them safely into a base or carrier oil. We will create a blend for a roller ball to take home and enjoy a simple hand massage.

A great Introduction if you are thinking of taking the VTCT Level 3 Aromatherapy Diploma Course or just time spent with friend or partner.
