The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage is an essential qualification for those wanting to treat injuries, aid rehabilitation and improve form and function. The role of a sports massage therapist is as much about preventing common injuries as it is treating them.

Becoming a qualified sports massage therapist will enable you to become self-employed and develop your own clinic or practice, or work within an existing establishment such as Physiotherapists Clinic or Gym Facility.

Current fitness professionals such as personal trainers, yoga teachers,  Pilates and Gym instructors can also add an additional element to their work, potentially opening up a whole new client base.

The content of this qualification is comprised of all the required elements needed to work effectively and efficiently as a sports massage therapist.

The level 3 sports massage therapist will be able to work safely and effectively on dysfunctional tissue in a range of contexts, including, pre-event, post event, intra-event and for maintenance purposes.
